Jean-Pierre Marson began his career in the United States, working for the most prestigious high jewellery houses in the world. It was there that he developed his eye for exceptional high jewelry and built the foundations of a lifelong passion for the trade.
Work brought him to Colombia — and Colombia changed everything. He fell in love three times over: with the country itself, with its extraordinary natural beauty and warmth; with Sor, who had already devoted her life to the emerald trade; and with the emeralds themselves — those deep, vivid stones unlike anything found anywhere else on earth. The more he discovered, the more he wanted to explore this beautiful gem further — its origins, its character, its infinite depth.
After decades immersed in the Colombian world, Jean-Pierre Marson felt the desire to bring these exceptional gemstones to the European market with the rigour, transparency, and care they deserve.
